Henry Moffatt

Henry A. Moffatt, 81, of Ottumwa, died at 1:35 a.m. May 5, 2021 at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center.

He was born March 9, 1940

A 1959 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Henry had worked for Roberts & Dybdahl Lumber and worked in maintenance at the YWCA. He operated his own lawn mowing business.
Henry enjoyed watching sports, was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed the NFL, NBA, enjoyed attending Ottumwa schools sporting events and loved working outside.

Surviving is his wife, Patricia; siblings, Roy Moffatt and Allen Moffatt both of California, Robert Moffatt of Ottumwa, Donald Moffatt of Nebraska, Beverly Robinson, Vera McElroy and Margaret Jessop all of Ottumwa; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Shirley Breeding, Betty Parrott and Dorothy Darringer.
His body has been cremated and no services are planned.
Reece Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
